Owner Profile
In 1992, Steven C. Hooks began his career in construction working with Parrish Builders of Tallahassee, Florida. Through the collaborative effort of Hooks and Parrish, the company was able to expand from residential to commercial construction and settle into the niche of commercial office development. Over the seven years of service Hooks provided, Parrish became one of the largest design-build developers in the Panhandle. In his last two years there, Steven oversaw in excess of 300,000 s.f. of office building from the conceptual design phase through estimating, construction, and the completion of each project.

In 2001, the opportunity presented itself for Hooks to return to his roots here on the Treasure Coast. Born and raised in the area, he gladly accepted the opportunity to move his family to Stuart and begin a new business venture with TeamSouth Construction. Over the next seven years, Steven Hooks became well-known for his expertise in the industry, rising from project manager to President of TeamSouth Construction. He is now the sole proprietor of his own company. Today, he uses his knowledge of the industry as well as his past development experience to bridge the gap between owner and contractor, uniting the vision of what both entities desire to accomplish throughout the construction process.
